Westjet - Flight Guide

OVERVIEW

WestJet’s online portal allows users to purchase/track flights, and has a reward system for members. For this short contract, WestJet wanted the team to create a Search widget that could be integrated into their existing portal to allow users to find and display the detailed information of an existing flight.

PROJECT

Using the requirements provided by WestJet, I created the UX flows for the flight guide search widget. The end product resulted in the widget being expanded into its own dedicated screen with a fully scalable results page, which provided modular sections of information that adapted to the wide variety of possible flight permutations.

Key challenges

- Organizing and accounting for the endless options available per flight according to aircraft model, seating, departure time, duration, etc..
