OVERVIEW

Thriver is an eCommerce web platform that helps companies manage their food and culture initiatives enabling organizations to promote a thriving workplace through in-office, remote, or hybrid services.

PROJECT

My time at Thriver coincided with the height of the pandemic, requiring the design team to support the company’s swift pivot to accommodate the industry’s increased need for remote/hybrid services. As the most senior product designer on the team, it was a great opportunity for me to focus on helping our junior designers to refine their skill sets and deliver high-quality work. This provided design leadership with the necessary breathing room to tackle high-level direction and effectively manage executive staff expectations.

Key challenges

- Aligning on ‘big bets’ (BHAG) within a rapidly changing industry and juggling the fine line between reliable yet fast deliverables.
- Growing the user base by 30% quarter over quarter for remote-only services.
